Author: Please be serious, I am trying to do some research. I would like to know why you (if you ever play video games:computer games, game boy/handheld, or console games.) play these things. Do you do it for fun, to release stress, just because someone wants you to play with them, or any other reason? Please tell me why you play video games, and why you think other people play video games.
It does all those things and more. It brings people together, sometimes the way tv use to, back in the day. I rather have some kind of interaction then to sit like a vegetable for couple hours watching a boring moving.
my mom is a red hat lady and is throwing a party and needs games fast!
it has to be a game played inside or out and can’t be long like monopoly.

How about an older ladies version of "Truth Or Dare", which was very popular in the 80s. You and your Mother can think of questions or dares that are milder than usual since the ladies are middle aged.
Or a scavenger hunt would be great. It would be fun and take some time. Just think of easy to find things for the ladies to find, and they can pair up or do 2 teams of 5 and 6 ladies
Other games that are great would be great are card games, Charades, Pictionary, Hangman, Bingo, Trivial Pursuit (They have different versions of this game, and they have ones with just questions from things that happened in the years ago that might be more appropriate for them.
Talk with your Mother or the other ladies to see what games they enjoy playing. They may have some good ideas.

I’m really not a first person shooter kind of person, but I didn’t do as poorly as I thought I would. But maybe that’s because I only got through the first two levels and then let myself die. I dunno, I just don’t find these kinds of games very interesting. Too much sameness all around, perhaps. It’s a wonder that I didn’t repeatedly get lost. o_o

I have a wi-fi network setup with encryption protection and a password to keep the neighborhood kids from hacking into my LAN.
What do I have to do to maintain encryption protection AND allow game play. I don’t want to leave my network open.
Forgot to mention. I use WPA-PSK encryption, and from what I gather the DS Lite isn’t compatible.
WEP is the only security that is compatible with the Nintendo DS Wi-Fi Connection. You will need to set your router for WEP security — or remove security on your router — to use the Nintendo DS at this access point. More help here:

Yes, it will play Japanese GB games. Nintendo handheld games (except for DSiWare games) are not region locked.
I have a laptop running Windows 7 with an on board video card. I’m looking for a real time strategy game similar to Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 that I can play online with my friends. Anyone know of a game like this with great game play and not so strenuous graphics? Thanks for any help!
