Ryzom is very different to other MMOs out there. No classes, no “Please go, kill the bandit and bring me his head, you’ll save our village” (until the next andventurer comes) quests, no medieval world with horses, undead and dragons, it’s very innovative, a sandbox game with long event arches and lots or roleplay. The community is very adult (mostly 25 to 35 years old) and friendly.
Graphics may look a bit old, but it creates a very immersive and inspiring atmosphere. Give it a try!

i played for a couple of months years ago, it’s pretty good. it doesn show in this vid but i love the organic feel of the environment in the forests and the detail they put into the graphics. till this day i havent seen a game with environment that was so alive. trees blowing in the wind and critters butterflies animated grass, pretty impressive. It doesn show in this vid though

i think it’s so worth the 9 pound a month.. if the game was for free i bet 50% of WoW users will not be playing right now because everyone treats the Free MMO the same.. “Meh, dont feel like playing ill login next week or so” but for paid games.. “must login now! i dont wanna waste my money”

ull see, there is NOTHING similar to WoW. Young players just didnt know even the genre “MMORPG” before WoW… but Blizzard didnt introduce the genre …and there are many games, that are totaly different in gameplay!
