This video will show you how to “softmod” your Nintendo Wii so you can play Wii game backups or downloaded Wii games. Please note if you do not follow this guide correctly it may damage your Wii. We are not responsible for anything that happens.
Even if you do not have backup or downloaded Wii games to play I recommend still following this guide because it does a lot of good things for your WIi.
Before you start…
-make sure you have the Homebrew Wii Channel. If you do not watch this video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2OXMK_M77lg
-Make sure you have an SD card formatted to FAT 32 or FAT (2GB or less sd card if your wii is under 4.1, if you have 4.1 you can use any size sd card).
-CHECK YOUR WII VERSION!!! You cannot follow this guide unless your Wii is version 3.1-4.1
-TURN WII CONNECT-24 OFF. In my “How to hack your Wii and Install the Homebrew Channel I show you how to do it. You Wii will need to be connected to the internet though for this guide.
-THE STEPS-
1. Download these files and put them in the root of your sd card as shown in the video:
http://depositfiles.com/en/files/iiuior4ec?redirect
-You will need a program called Winrar to extract the files. Download it here:
PC Winrar: http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
Mac Winrar: http://www.unrarx.com/
2. Back-up your NAND (Wii memory) follow the video I can’t make the description too long
3. Get a CIOS
a). Go to Homebrew channel and run Trucha Bug Restorer, load IOS36, press 1, read the warnings then select ‘downgrade IOS15′, select to load IOS from SD card then let it do its job, keep an eye on what it is doing and make sure you select ‘load from sd card’ when it asks & don’t get any errors.
b) Run Trucha Bug Restorer again, this time select to load IOS15 on first screen using dpad left/right, then select the IOS36 menu & install patched (select ‘yes’ on all 3 patches) IOS36 to slot 36, again using IOS from SD card.
c) Run Trucha Bug Restorer again, load IOS36 and this time select restore IOS15.
d) Run cIOS38 r14 installer, select IOS36 as the one it should use and then select wad install.
If your Homebrew Channel flips upside down then continue with the guide and when completed reinstall the homebrew channel.
4. UPDATE YOUR SYSTEM MENU VERSION
Warning – If you don’t install the patched IOS60 first you will brick!
This step is optional unless you are on 3.1, 3.3 or 3.4 in which case you must update, if you are on 3.2 or 4.0 you can update if you want and it is recommended that you do, if you are on 4.1 there is no need obviously! If you are on 3.1 you will have to update to 4.0 first, make sure you install the patched IOS60 first though still. Before you update to 4.1 make sure you have at least 250 blocks free or you will brick, install IOS60-patched first with Wad Manager using IOS249, then run Firmware Updater 4.1. If you are on 3.3 or 3.4 then you must update now – DO NOT install priiloader until you have updated as it will cause untold problems!.

Classic Game Room HD reviews the NEC Turbografx-16 video game console (also known as the PC-Engine in Japan, although there are differences). Released in 1989 in the U.S. the Turbografx-16 has a number of exclusive titles like Blazing Lazers and Bonk’s Adventure, many of which are now available for the Nintendo Wii Virtual Console.

Part 2 of 2: Watch in HD. Classic Game Room reviews NASCAR KART RACING from EA Sports for the Nintendo Wii video game console. This cart driving game is ultra-fast and ultra-smooth and ultra-fun for fans of the cartoony, anything goes smash your enemies with dynamite sticks racing genre. Are you bored of all the existing MarioKart Wii racing courses and want to try something new? Whether you’re a Nascar stock car fan or not this game should appeal to you if you’re in the mood for a family friendly outing of competitive Kart racing. It works with the Wii Wheel and instead of magic mushrooms and Mario characters the game is filled with cartoon likenesses of Nascar drivers like Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson Cark Edwards and Matt Kenseth. Drive the DuPont car, Lowe’s race car or (my favorite) the M&M race car! There are also a number of unlockable fictional characters (that players unlock) who would easily win any Wii wet T-Shirt contest. Now… that’s a game idea…. Race on Nascar inspired tracks like Daytona and Talladega. Classic Game Room HD brings you the best in new school and old school retro video game reviews. We are a Wii reviewer reviewing new Wii games from 2009 as well as PS3, Xbox 360 and Atari 2600. Nascar Kart Racing is published by Electronic Arts, Inc. and developed by EA North Carolina.

Classic Game Room HD reviews MAG for Playstation 3 PS3. Multiplayer Action Game, hoorah! Mag may not be the most prolific shooter ever created but Sony’s PS3 exclusive shooter is made for massive multiplayer games and succeeds. Short on style but high on action, that’s MAG in a nutshell. Smooth online games with up to 256 player battles and very little wait time between matches. Headset compatible with lots of people playing and numerous combat style engagements, MAG excels where so many other shooters fall flat on their face. On the downside for some is the fact that MAG is multiplayer only, so the fun only lasts as long as people are playing it. MAG is like a combination of Warhawk and Modern Warfare 2. Well designed multiplayer boards and fast paced combat with upgrade ready machine guns, sniper riles and heavy weapons await PS3 gamers. This CGR review of MAG has gameplay from MAG showing online multiplayer game play in action. UPC 711719811022

Console Unlock – Play Homebrew, Backup and Import Games on your Wii Without Installing a ModChip.
What is Console Unlock?
ConsoleUnlock offers a safe and simple alternative to ‘modchips’. Wii chips trick your Wii to be able to run Homebrew Applications, to play Import Games and Backup Games. The problem with a Wii Chip is that you have to physically open your Wii and install the chip. The best Wii Chips are solderless but the mere act of opening your Wii’s case automatically voids your warranty forever.
